The Sacramento Bee's restaurant writer Allen Pierleoni recently wrote about one of Arden Arcade's guilty pleasures -- the spumoni at Capital Confections in Town and Country Village. It has hazelnut, pistachio and cherry gelato with chocolate chips, Bing cherries and pistachio nuts mixed in. And if you want to overdose, it pairs well with the shop's famous truffles. Capital Confections has been a good excuse for a trip to Town and Country Village for nearly two decades. Arden Arcade is fortunate to have such a great place for chocolate AND spumoni!
