Letting the cat out of the bag
Residents of the San Juan Unified School District are finally being informed that the School Board made a decision to build a new middle school (one costing around $50M) at Creekside. The news is coming from residents of the impacted area, who were not informed until after the decision was made. Our elves tell us that the public is supposed to be told about projects of this magnitude well before decisions are cast in stone, not after the fact. And that the School Board (not their staff) is responsible for that instead of the people who have to live with the consequences of the Board's decision.
