Last night someone set fire to the play structure at Bohemian Park. Metro Fire responded and put the fire out a little after midnight. Bohemian Park serves a largely disadvantaged neighborhood. Whether the fire was accidental or deliberate,  the children and the parents of the immediate neighborhoods are the ones who suffer from this damage. The playground is unsafe now and has been cordoned off. The Park District is determining how to best deal with the risk and secure the area for a longer-term fix.
