CPACs ignore the community
To the Editor, Advocates for Arden Arcade
I agree with your post ("Another Dumb Project is back again", 03/27/24). Arden Arcade doesn’t need another storage facility. We need affordable housing. How about another massage business, or another liquor store? I’m kidding. Working with CPACs is a waste of time. The boards have their minds made up before meetings happen. No matter how many negative community comments are fielded, the project will be approved. Take a cue from the Wilhaggin community and the Jesuit permanent lightening project. It didn’t matter how the community felt about the lighting project, it was approved by the CPAC and Jesuit got what they wanted.
